Phonics All-Stars: Phase 5A

This phase of the Phonics All-Stars program promotes reading growth through common graphemes. Readers will explore long vowel sounds, as well as oy, aw, and ph sounds. High-frequency words include people as well as -ed words. Each book includes three accessible stories that introduce themes that will get readers excited to practice their phonics skills. Illustrations and photographs accompany hi-lo text to give readers the opportunity to grow in their comprehension. Kids will gain a sense of pride and self-efficacy as they rise to a new level of reading.
