The Decodables: Code Breakers (Nonfiction)

Code Breakers is a series designed to support older readers who have not yet broken the code of decodable reading. Through carefully selected words and high-interest topics, each books allows older readers the opportunity to practice early phonics sounds in engaging, age-appropriate texts. This set of 10 nonfiction decodable books focuses on developing readers' skills in vowels, prefixes, suffixes, and multi-syllabic words, while they also learn about various space science topics such as planets and stars. Readers will gain confidence in their decoding skills as they progress through these beautiful, informative, and fun books. Includes a note to the caregiver and a word list organized by Focus words.
