Seattle Storm

The Seattle Storm was founded in 2000. Finishing in last place for its first season, the team has come a long way since that time. The Storm has won the WNBA championship four times. The team features some of the best players in the sport today--including Jewell Loyd, Nneka Ogwumike, and Gabby Williams. Coached by Noelle Quinn, the Storm has had many memorable moments over the years. Part of the WNBA series, Seattle Storm tells the story of how this women's basketball team, named for its city's intense weather, has become one of the most powerful in the WNBA.
