When the U.S. Space Force was created in 2019, thousands of people wanted to join this new military branch. Many of the people accepted transferred from the U.S. Air Force. Other applicants were new to the military. With jobs for enlisted members, officers, and even civilians, the Space Force offers its guardians the chance to help protect U.S. interests in space in a variety of ways.
