Israelis and Palestinians: A Troubled History

The historic Middle East region of Palestine is a troubled land. Two peoples--Israelis and Palestinians--both claim ownership of this land of their ancestors. The result is a long history of violence, oppression, and prejudice that has eluded all efforts to find a peaceful solution. In October 2023, the region exploded in a vicious conflict over territory and the right to live in freedom.
