Thunder at the Beach

Shan and Chet's sandcastle building ends abruptly when a thunderstorm sweeps in. Readers will be challenged to blend new words using the th digraph while practicing words with previously taught sounds. Shan and Chet will be challenged to get home before the rainstorm completely soaks them. This book includes numerous words with initial and final th digraphs, including a few that will encourage the readers to begin to decode more complex words like thunder and Thursday.
