Mutt and Pug

Two sleepy pets are encouraged to join Tom outside. Readers will delight in the fun the dogs have racing about and will giggle when they read what Pug eats! A variety of short u words presented in C-V-C patterns encourage the students to employ their newly learned decoding skills. A limited number of high frequency words and some previously learned vowel patterns are also presented.
