Building Places to Learn

The community of Learnville needs new places for its inhabitants to--you guessed it--learn, and readers of this entertaining and informative book are on the planning board! They'll follow along as young community members work with the Local Area Builders to create different places to learn, including a music school, a sports club, and more. They'll discover what happens in these facilities and consider how they're a valuable part of communities. A final activity asks readers to make a map of their own community with the locations of places to learn nearest to them.
