Teen Suicide on the Rise

The suicide rate for ten- to nineteen-year-olds more than doubled from 2007 to 2019, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of suicide attempts skyrocketed. By winter 2021, the number of suicide attempts was 39 percent higher than it was in winter 2019. This book examines the factors that have contributed to this rise, how teens in particular have been affected, and ways to get help.
