This low-level title introduces young students to the physical properties of light through an interactive approach. The science of light is explained to the reader through a series of photo-illustrated, step-by-step experiments, shown as being performed by their elementary-aged peers. The accessible text and experiments combine to teach important scientific concepts as well as promote critical thinking in young students.
