NSTA Recommends

This book is unique in the fact that students get an inside view of the animals presented. Students can see the inner workings of muscles and organs. On each page there are short paragraphs to accompany an illustration. The information is interesting and of high interest to children. The language and sentence structure is appropriate for grades K-3. I might use it for students to reference when writing reports about animals. This book could also be used as a read aloud; the pictures are large and interesting.
