Library Media Connection

Each weapon featured in this series is illustrated with color or b&w photographs and each weapon has a sidebar of specifications of the weapons. A wealth of information is covered in these slim volumes. Each volume begins with an introduction about the featured weapons and places it in historical context. Numerous examples are shown with their countries of origin. This series would be a welcome addition to middle school and high school libraries wanting to enhance their collection of contemporary history. Also, it would appeal to the middle and high school reader. Recommended.
